These monotypes are small, about 5 x 4 inches, and hand-colored with Prismacolor and collaged printed papers. The images derive from stories in my own life and the lives of my family and friends. Each is a challenge to both memory and invention, and each is an intimate amusement. The attending angels and my dog, Rufus, serve as narrator-witnesses to recalled events. This series, begun in 2017, is still under construction. –mls 2019
